Whew, I've been on FIRE 🔥 in June! What have y'all Junes looked like? Went by too fast? Being that my birthday is in August and my favorite holiday is Halloween, I'd say not fast enough! Funny story, I am currently in classes for my teaching license. We have classes 4 days a week. Monday night my cable, phone (landline) and internet goes out 😲! Yeah, you heard right, everything stopped working 🤦🏾‍♀️!! I do not know any of the account information, so I couldn't call to figure out what was happening. Here I am in bed on my phone watching Netflix, BUT, I can't see without my glasses and my 📱 was too far away on my night stand. I put it on my bed and it overheated. I struggled all night. Now, it's 8:30 am and time for class. I've only had 4 hours of on and off sleep. My internet, still not working 😡. I text my instructor and explain and log on to class on my phone (which is against the rules. You need to be on your computer). My internet did not come on until 3:00 pm that day!

WIP almost done!

I have my new story down to 3 titles. Vote in the comments! 1.) Sister Assassins. 2.) Assassins: Vigilantes or 3.) Sisters: We live together, we kill together. 3 sisters who had a trauma filled childhood avenge themselves and women in their town who have been victimized like they have.

First, meet the 3 sisters:

Nia: When I pull up to our house at the end of the dead end street, I do not get immediately out. When I wipe the sweat off my face 3 times in under a minute, I know it's time for me to go in the house. Heading to the truck, I look up at the house while I grab my things out the back. I as I walk to the house with my purse over my shoulder, my tote bag and sunglasses on, I sit on the first step. I still do not want to go in yet, and I start to reminisce on my childhood. When I walked up the door, she did not back up to let me in.

Kuan: When I walk in to the house, the alarm goes off, and I make sure to shut the door and re-lock it before shutting the alarm off. I look at myself in the mirror as I grab a makeup wipe and begin scrubbing my face. I went home that day, excited to tell my mother that I was clean and show her my new clothes. When I was done with the shower, I padded back to my room and hooked up my phone's Bluetooth to my speakers. My hardwoods are cold beneath me and I wonder why I did not move to feet and lay on the area rug, or the bed. I tighten my lips and turn to see Valentina standing in my doorway." Get the fuck out, I am naked.

Valentina: There's two of us, me and Khalan, I work with the girls mostly and him with the boys. I either have to put it in the truck or take it with me. I have to turn back for my phone, then around again to the car and back to the building. By the time I make it to the building, I am huffing and puffing so much I feel like I just ran a marathon." Ms. I placed the back of my hand to her forehead. Just like mama used to do to me." What's wrong Ebony?" "My stomach was hurting, and I threw up in the bathroom.

I'm on Kindle Vella Guys!! 😊 What is it? Amazon is coming out ( In July) with an app.

"Kindle Vella is a serialized reading platform, in the vein of Wattpad and Radish, where readers can access stories released in short episodic installments, either on the Kindle Vella app for iOS or Android, or on the Kindle Vella website on desktop. Episodes can range from 500 to 6,000 words, and while the first three episodes of any Kindle Vella story are free to access, readers need to acquire and use tokens to unlock future ones. Readers can also interact with stories by giving them a “thumbs up,” or by “faving” them.

The number of tokens required to unlock an episode will depend on its length, and authors are remunerated for their stories based on the number of tokens spent by readers to unlock them.
