Imani is a sophomore at Douglas and gets caught up early one. She is instructed to get close to the twins, but when she does she realizes she really likes Dion and Lanelle is cool.

Booker is a foster care kid whose biological father just popped into his life, that's how he ended up at Douglas.
He is quiet and into computer and stuff like that. HE falls for Lanelle hard and then ends up losing her trust. Realizing his priorities should be with his new friends and not his father, he hopes it's not too late.
